Sunday Worship
Sundays 10.30am and 6pm
at the Number ONE Community Centre
Tunbridge Wells Presbyterian Church meets for public worship at 10.30am and 6pm each Sunday at the
Number One Community Centre, Showfields Road, Tunbridge Wells.
We use the whole centre and youth room and cafe, each Sunday. As a church we give time and money to make it available for other community groups the rest of the week.

At our 10.30am service we provide a Sunday Club, but families are welcomed at both services.

Our children enjoy the playground area after church whilst parents talk and share fellowship.

Our services comprise a mixture of contemporary worship songs, traditional hymns and Bible psalms.
We encourage extemporary prayer as well as making use of some liturgy, catechisms and creeds.

Our services draw on some of the Anglican prayers as fits with our background, but our worship and teaching uphold the Westminster Standards of the Presbyterian Churches
Twice a month we share the Lord's Supper: Once at our morning service and once at our evening service.
The Lord's Supper is for all Christian people who are walking in faith, with Jesus every day. It is a meal for baptised believers in good standing with our or another Church.

'On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them.'
Acts 20:7

Since the earliest times Christian people have gathered on the first day of each week to come together in public acts of worship, to sit under the preached word and to share Christian fellowship together.

Corporate gathered worship is central to the Christian faith and the vital way God sustains us.
