Toddler Group

First Steps purple logo (1).jpg

On Monday mornings we host a baby and toddler group at the Number One Library.   This meets weekly from 10am to 11.30am.  First Steps is a ‘stay and play’ morning where we provide a wide range of lovely toys, activities and crafts and provide opportunity for parents and children to make new friends.

Parenting can be a lonely experience – so we hope this group will provide a place where parents can be honest about their struggles, reach out to make new friends and we can support each other in raising our children.

We hope it’s a great chance for the children to make friends, grow and develop.

There is a voluntary donation of £2 per family and this goes towards providing the tea & coffee, cake, snack time for the children and the themed craft.  Towards the end, we encourage everyone to stay for singing nursery rhymes and a short story from the Bible – to link into the craft we have done.

First Steps does not meet during School Holidays or on Bank Holidays.

COVID 19:  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, First Steps is currently not meeting.  We look forward to welcoming our families back soon as we can - please watch this space!

Sundays

During our Sunday Morning Services we provide a 'creche' link room for parents and their little ones to make use of if required.

A video link is available to the service so that parents can follow the service.

From age 3 upwards a pre-school Sunday Club class is available, which is led by experienced teachers.
